About Us

We are a family run business with many different crafty, creative interests. Barb and Mikaela have many years of knitting experience going back to their early years - Barb learning to knit from her Oma and mom, and Mikaela knitting on the playground with her friend during recess. They love exploring new patterns, trying out all kinds of yarn, and playing around with colours. Going into a yarn shop is like going into a candy store for them!  Lori dabbles in knitting/crocheting, but her main focus is pottery. She lets her creativity go and comes up with some beautiful, unique designs! Her pottery is also known as Prairie Willow Pottery, which is why our store is called Willow 'n Wool!

At Willow 'n Wool we enjoy creating an atmosphere that fosters community and creativity while inspiring the craftier sides of life! We are thrilled to be part of the business community here in Airdrie!
