COVID-19 STORE GUIDELINES

 

First, we ask that you either wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer provided as you enter the store. 

 

We will be monitoring the number of shoppers in the store and will limit it to 3 at a time. Feel free to call ahead and ask if there is a line up! 

 

We know you are looking forward to squishing all the yarn once again - but we ask that you limit the handling of yarn that you won’t be buying. Since that’s not completely possible, we have bins to put your unwanted yarn in! Once you have handled a skein of yarn - it doesn’t go back on the shelf! 

 

Unfortunately we will not be having any type of gathering in the store. This means we cannot host Stitch Night, have classes OR lessons, or sit, stitch and chat on the couches. Though we love chatting with you, if there is a line up, we ask that you keep your visit brief! 

 

We are still happy to offer assistance with small problems you may have, however, we all need to remember to keep our distance to keep each other safe! 

REWARDS PROGRAM: 

This time of Covid-19 has been quite difficult for our store. In order to cope with the loss in revenue we’ve experienced, we are putting our store rewards program on hold as of June 2nd 2020. If you have acquired store credit on your account and have already reached your $250 spent - you will still be able to use the credit that is on your account. However, we will be pausing the program for the time being. This means that each purchase made, during this pause, will not be added to your totals. We greatly appreciate all of the support we’ve been given over the last two and a half years and know that this program is our easiest form of customer appreciation. We will have an update with regards to the program in September.

 
About Us

After many years of throwing around the idea of opening a yarn store in Airdrie, Willow 'n Wool has become a reality! We are a family run business with many different crafty, creative interests. Barb and Mikaela have many years of knitting experience going back to their early years. Barb learning to knit from her Oma and mom, and Mikaela knitting on the playground with her friend during recess. They love exploring new patterns, trying out all kinds of yarn, and playing around with colours. Going into a yarn shop is like going into a candy store for them!  Lori dabbles in knitting/crocheting, but her main focus is pottery. She lets her creativity go and comes up with some beautiful, unique designs! Her pottery is also known as Prairie Willow Pottery, which is why our store is called Willow 'n Wool! 

At Willow 'n Wool we enjoy creating an atmosphere that fosters community and creativity while inspiring the craftier sides of life! We are thrilled to be part of the business community here in Airdrie!

RETURN POLICY: 

With the original receipt you may return yarn up to 90 days after purchase, in exchange for the full amount in store credit. Pottery, needles and accessories can be returned within 7 days for the full amount in store credit. Items must be in the same condition as purchased.
